Design a service to help citizens learn about civics and foster conversation around community responsibility and respect. 

Problem Statements

  • Is a new immigrant to the United States who needs to know more about how the government of the county works so he can be a contributing and informed member of society.

  • Is a college student who needs to know what responsibilities she has a a citizen because she didn’t pay attention in social studies class in 5th grade.

  • Is an avid traveller who needs to know the laws of different states she visits because she wants to be safe and informed.

Hypothesis Statement: If users had a trusted and welcoming way to learn about civic responsibility they would be more engaged citizens.

Goal Statement: Our app and website will let users learn about civics which will affect citizens by informing them and engaging them in their civic responsibility we will measure effectiveness by the number of users who complete our basic civics course.
