I was introduced to jackie by my sister Kristin, and suffice it to say we got on right away...

in our first conversation we talked about her wonderfully unique wedding, what she liked, what she didn’t like, and the work she wanted to do more of.

What I love about working with jackie is that she isn’t afraid to start somewhere weird, and bring it back to balance.

In the end, we created whimsical illustrations, paired with not so suttle wallpaper designs. which were put together beautifully by the talented Danette Yarbrough to create the new Winter Studios website!

In our first conversation we discussed how some Winter Studios clients come to them looking for ways to infuse personality into what some may describe as a cookie cutter home of the Houston suburbs.

With this logo I wanted to express that structural limitation by using a rectangle shape— seizing the opportunity to make the most of the space by touching every corner with a maximalist wallpaper design, and then pushing the limits with the Winter Studios logo text because that is just what they do.
